20th Century Fox is producing a movie adaptation of The A-Team, the famous 1980s TV series. The A-Team movie is directed by Joe Carnahan and is starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel. The film is scheduled for a release om June 11, 2010.
According to writer Michael Brandt, the adaptation will be more in vein of Die Hard, The Bourne Identity, and Casino Royale. Besides the setting of the story has been updated: the plot shifts indeed from Vietnam to the Middle East.
Here's a first picture of the van of the A-Team movie:

Plot:
"A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed."

- Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt. "B.A." Baracus
- Sharlto Copley as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock
- Jessica Biel as Face's ex-lover
- Patrick Wilson as a CIA operative
As long as they try to keep the humor of the original A-Team series, this movie should be fine. And after all the cast is quite good.
Anyway, let's watch the opening of the original A-Team:
I wonder if they will keep the original theme song, or are they going to update the song like they with
Mission Impossible?
